Roadless Races creates fun, friendly and challenging trail races in the Triangle Area of North Carolina, as well as virtual events that challenge participants that live anywhere.

Roadless Races’ goal is to create exceptional events, promote healthy competition, facilitate personal accomplishment and build a community of fulfilled and happy trail racers.

Race, volunteer or spectate at any of the races and you will be sure to have an excellent experience.

• Limited race entry to provide an intimate and friendly race experience and prevent overcrowding on the trails
• Fun and challenging course design
• Professional race operations
• Superbly marked courses – you won’t get lost
• Soft, comfy and stylish race t-shirts that you’ll love and want to wear (men’s/unisex, women’s, and youth sizes)
• Beautiful race medals at all of our half marathons and virtual events
• Exciting atmosphere with great music

• Frequent and well-stocked aid stations every 1-2 miles along the course
• Medical support
• Chip timing with accurate and timely posting of results
• Abundant, varied and tasty post-race food and beverages (including items such as sliders, fresh fruit, hummus and veggies, bagels and peanut butter, trail bars, chips, cookies, and a crowd favorite, little cups of M&Ms. Beverages include water, Gatorade, soft drinks, Honest Kids juice and non-alcoholic craft beer from Athletic Brewing Company).
• Free Kids ‘Race for Treasure’ for any kids 11-years-old and younger
• Awards ceremony with lots of giveaways and fun contests, including a push up contest where all participants receive an item of swag
