Skip to main contentJoin the Carrboro Farmers’ Market in celebrating National Farmers Market Week on Saturday, Aug. 8! The CFM will round out its celebration of National Farmers Market Week (August 2-8, 2026) with a “Mini-Museum” of Carrboro Farmers’ Market history in the gazebo, with banners highlighting the market’s development and timeline from its founding in 1979. Donate to the Double Bucks Program and be entered into a raffle drawing to win a market basket full of goodies from CFM vendors and Orange County Visitors Bureau. Paint it Orange will also be joining the celebrations with plein air painting and an interactive art activity in the gazebo. Shoppers can also enjoy samples of in-season market products, including fruit grown by CFM farmers and a garden vegetable gazpacho made by Claudia Sanders of Good Intentions Culinary Services.
The CFM’s Farmers Market Week celebrations are sponsored by Laser Image Printing & Marketing and Wake Radiology.
The CFM is open Saturdays year-round (7 a.m. to noon April-October and 9 a.m. to noon November-March) and Wednesdays seasonally (3-6 p.m. April-November) at Carrboro Town Commons.
