100 Women Who Give a Hoot: Make a Difference in Durham

What if one hour, one vote and $100 could make a meaningful difference for a local nonprofit?

100 Women Who Give a Hoot – Chapel Hill/Durham invites local women to an evening of connection, community and collective giving at the all-new Fullsteam Brewery at the American Tobacco Campus.

The concept is simple: Local women come together, hear from three area nonprofits doing important work in the community and vote to select one to receive the evening’s collective donation. With 100 women giving $100 each, that’s $10,000 for one local nonprofit — in just one hour.

Guests can meet other community-minded women, learn about organizations making an impact close to home and see firsthand how simple and rewarding giving can be.

New to HOOT? Perfect. Guests are welcome, and there’s no cost to attend. Guest donations are not mandatory but are always welcomed. More than anything, the organization wants guests to experience the joy of collective giving.

Doors open at 6 p.m.; light bites will be served and a cash bar will be available. Presentations begin at 6:45 p.m.
