Skip to main contentSavor the fabulous flavors of Greece in Durham, North Carolina, at A Taste of Greece on Oct. 10-11, 2026. The event will feature authentic Greek food and desserts, as well as Greek beer and wine. Popular offerings, including mouthwatering gyro pita wraps, spanakopita and baklava, will be available for takeout or to enjoy in dining tents, surrounded by Greek music and the unmistakable “kefi” that ensues when good times are accompanied by great food.
Kefi is one of those Greek words that defies simple translation, but guests will know they’re feeling it when they experience that sensation of joy, spirit, mojo, excitement, passion, fun and loving life — preferably in the company of others. Opa!
Vendors will offer Greek groceries, prize-winning Greek olive oil, watercolor art of Greece, local and Ukrainian crafts, novelties, home decor, jewelry, children’s books and the award-winning community cookbook The Grecian Plate. An Attic Treasures Sale will feature treasures for every budget. Tours of the landmark Byzantine-style church at 12:30, 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. will highlight new iconography.
