The Glass Jug’s team is psyched to announce that Joe Hero kicks off the season on April 25! The group is known as the ultimate Foo Fighters tribute band with live shows that capture the energy and sound of one of the world’s biggest rock acts. The season continues with shows all summer that you won’t want to miss.
May 16, 6-9 p.m.: Police & Thieves – The Triangle’s finest New Wave and Post-Punk band playing favorite hits from The Police, The Clash, Talking Heads, The Cars and other classics from the late ’70s and early ’80s.
June 6, 6-9 p.m.: The Phoebes – the perfect mix of Rock & Blues with soulful vocals, screaming guitars and a driving rhythm section.
June 13, 6-9 p.m.: Peak City Band – rockin’ interpreters of blues, rock ’n’ roll, rhythm & blues and even a little Latin & jazz at times. Every song is performed using imagination to make it into the group’s own blend.
July 18, 6-9 p.m.: Rose Galaxy Band – their powerhouse lead vocalist and killer lineup bring fresh energy and a unique edge to rock and pop/rock hits from the ’90s through today.
Aug. 8, 6-9 p.m.: Heavy Weather – the top Yacht Rock party band in the Raleigh-Durham Triangle area.
Aug. 29, 6-9 p.m.: Your Mama’s New Boyfriend – Raleigh-based group known for energetic performances of classic rock and blues. Voted as Raleigh’s Best Local Band!
Sept. 12, 5-8 p.m.: Oktoberfest featuring Oak City Polka Kings – keeping the festive spirit of Oktoberfest alive! Expect beer-hall sing-alongs, polka grooves and high-energy fun that pairs perfectly with steins of craft beer and German-style cheer.
Oct. 3, 5-8 p.m.: Peak City Band – back for a second show! If you missed the first one, come on out, or come back for seconds!
Oct. 17, 6-9 p.m.: Skavinjir – celebrating the golden era of hard rock/metal classics from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s- bands that shaped your youth with pounding drums, guitar harmonies, leads and some of the greatest vocalists of all time.
Oct. 31, 6-9 p.m.: The Roguez – Halloween show featuring this awesome alternative, blues, country, dance, metal, pop, rock group from the Triangle area.
Every show is free to attend and all ages are welcome. The mobile bar will be serving beer in the beer garden and a local food truck will be serving at every show. Follow on Street Food Finder for food truck details. Schedule subject to change, stay tuned for details on each show!
