This month, Concerts on the Creek features Rissi Palmer. A trailblazer in country music, she made history with her breakthrough single “Country Girl,” becoming the first Black female country artist in nearly two decades to chart on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Since then, she has built a career that blends artistry with advocacy, from independently releasing acclaimed albums to creating platforms like Color Me Country Radio that amplify underrepresented voices. With performances at iconic venues and national recognition for her impact, Palmer continues to reshape the sound and story of country music.

This event is free to attend and open to all. Free parking is located in the deck across the street at 3150 Elion Drive. When you arrive, walk through the outdoor breezeway to the courtyard and you will see the stage. House music begins at 2:30, with the performance starting at 3 p.m. There will be a brief intermission from 4-4:30 p.m. before the final set plays from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
