Durham Hot Wing Challenge at Durham Beer Garden

Durham Hot Wing Challenge

Durham Beer Garden and Bull City Pepper Co. team up to bring the Durham Hot Wing Challenge to the beer garden on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 3:30 p.m.

Competitors will face several rounds of wings that get hotter with each round. Each contestant must finish one bone-in wing per round, and no liquids are allowed until their run in the competition is over.

Bull City Pepper Co. will keep turning up the heat with its hot sauces. If contestants are still standing, the challenge will move on to pepper dust — and, if that’s still not enough, the peppers themselves.

First place wins cash and prizes. The competition is free to enter.

Those interested in competing can DM @durhambeergarden on Instagram. Space is limited.

Guests can compete or grab a beer and watch as brave contestants find out exactly how much heat they can handle.
