First Responders Day at New Hope Valley Railway
On Saturday, August 8, bring the whole family and join a special day celebrating local heroes! The Town of Apex Fire Department, Apex Police Department and Wake County EMS will be on hand for a hands-on, family-friendly Touch-a-Truck event. This is your chance to get up close to emergency vehicles, climb inside and see firsthand how they help keep the community safe. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet the brave men and women who serve every day, hear their stories and learn important safety tips in a fun and engaging way.
Train rides depart at 10:30 a.m. and noon, giving you the perfect chance to enjoy a scenic ride while making lasting memories. Whether you’re young or young at heart, this event promises a full day of appreciation, discovery and excitement.
