The short story: Two teams of improvisers create a world like you’ve never seen before.
The long story: The Harold is a long-form improvised format which emphasizes patterns, themes and group discoveries instead of a traditional plot or story. It’s performed around the world and is generally regarded as the core form of improv comedy.
While there are many styles of Harold, the structure follows a basic organization of an opening, three beats, a group game, three beats and a run. If you’ve seen a sitcom, you’ve seen a Harold.
