Skip to main contentOpening of “Our House” at DAC, annual DAC School instructor & student show
The Durham Arts Council School is in the spotlight with Our House, an annual exhibition featuring artwork by students and instructors. The exhibition celebrates participants in DAC’s vibrant arts education program, which offers more than 700 courses each year to over 6,000 adults, teens and children in drawing, painting, dance, photography, writing, fiber arts and more.
The artwork in Our House reflects the hard work and creativity of students, as well as the professionalism and expertise of their instructors. The exhibition is on view in the Allenton Gallery on the first floor and the Semans Gallery on the second floor.
The DAC School will host a free make-and-take activity for visitors, and DAC School instructor Angela Duran will perform at 7 p.m.
Light fare and drinks will be available.
