An opening reception for the exhibit will be held Friday, Oct. 30, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Hillsborough Gallery of Arts, located in the Mercantile Building at 121 N. Churton St. in historic downtown Hillsborough. Live music on the patio will be provided by the Lars Barbary Trio.
2026 marks the 32nd year of the Orange County Artists Guild’s Annual Open Studio Tour. During the first two weekends in November, 105 artists throughout Orange County will participate in this juried event, opening their studios to visitors. The tour offers art lovers from Orange County and beyond an opportunity to meet artists in their workspaces, view and purchase art directly from the artists, and, in many cases, watch demonstrations of their creative processes.
Studio Tour brochures and maps to participating artists’ studios are available at the Hillsborough Gallery of Arts and other area locations, as well as on the guild’s website at http://www.ocagnc.org.
Many artists participating in the 2026 tour will have work featured in the OCAG Preview Exhibit at the Hillsborough Gallery of Arts from Oct. 27 through Nov. 15. The preview exhibit offers an early look at the artwork featured on the tour and can help visitors plan their tour routes.
