When the Renaissance Festival gates close, the revelry continues. The RenFest After Party is a 21-and-older overnight celebration on Saturday, Nov. 14, at Spring Haven Farm in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Guests can continue the medieval fun with live music, dancing, Renaissance games, tavern-style gambling, bonfires, mead, beer, food, a late-night movie and camping. Costumes are required, and attendees are encouraged to dress as their favorite Renaissance-inspired characters for a night of games, competition and revelry.
The night’s main event is the Great Revelry Challenge. Each guest receives 25 gold coins to gamble, trade, win and earn throughout the night. The reveler with the most gold at the end of the event wins $500 in cash, with $250 awarded for second place and $100 for third place.
Tickets include after-party admission, admission to RenFest on Sunday, preferred parking, 25 gold coins, one alcoholic drink ticket, pub snacks, live entertainment, games and challenges, bonfires, a late-night movie and a reserved campsite.
After-party check-in begins at 6 p.m. The event is limited to guests 21 and older, and Renaissance costumes are required.
