Second Friday ArtWalk: Extended Ackland Art Museum Hours

Join for extended hours at the Ackland Art Museum during the Carrboro-Chapel Hill Second Friday ArtWalk! Each month, the museum will stay open from 5-9 p.m. to give visitors more time to explore.

Stroll through the galleries and explore a collection of more than 21,000 works of art, browse the Museum Store, and sketch in the galleries using art supplies from the lobby’s art cart.

Admission to the Ackland is always free; no prior registration needed. Find inspiration during extended open hours, whether you’re stopping by solo or bringing friends! Check out the museum’s events page for more information on upcoming public programming.
