Song Circle. Sunday, Oct. 18, 3–5 p.m., Lanza’s Cafe (back room). Host John Gillespie and fellow songwriters sit in the round, taking turns playing their songs and sharing the stories behind them, Nashville-style. No tickets are needed. The event takes place during the closing afternoon of the Carrboro Songwriters Festival, Oct. 16–18.
