Speakeasy’s Queer Cabaret and Dance Party (is Turning Two)!

Two years of Queer Cabaret?! The celebration is going big for this one!

Join Queer Cabaret on Saturday, Aug. 8, at Speakeasy in Carrboro as the cast toasts two years of community, magic and absolute glamour! An action-packed evening is planned – plus birthday celebrations for the fabulous AquaPOURin’ and Summer Flings!

Here’s the lineup for the ultimate anniversary and birthday bash:

7 p.m. — “Cameron Price Is Right” Trivia
Arrive early, grab a drink and put those trivia skills to the test!

9 p.m. — Anniversary & Birthday Show (18+)
Hosted by the fabulous AmanDuh Barron, this extra-special show features an unforgettable mix of drag and burlesque performances. The lineup includes local favorites Garnet Starlet, Gyna Gunt, Bebe Daddy, AquaPOURin’, Summer Flings and Franny Starlight!

11 p.m. — Dance Party with DJ NIHL (18+)
The dance floor opens as DJ NIHL keeps the celebration going late into the night!

With so much to celebrate, guests are encouraged to wear their most fabulous, sparkly outfits – but there’s absolutely no pressure. Everyone is welcome to come exactly as they are!
