Liberty Arts will present a showcase of jewelry by Gianine Carbone in The Little Gallery, located at 918 Pearl St.
For Carbone, jewelry is more than an accessory; it is a dynamic form of personal expression that continually evolves. She creates layered, textured pieces that honor the earth through the exclusive use of recycled metals and ethically sourced gemstones. Her primary material is Argentium sterling silver, a 100% recycled silver alloy valued for its tarnish resistance.
Carbone combines modern sustainable practices with traditional techniques, including the Korean gilding method known as Keum Boo. By fusing 24-karat gold foil to silver using only heat and pressure, she creates striking metallic contrast in each design.
Committed to artistic growth, Carbone rarely repeats a design, instead focusing on creating one-of-a-kind pieces. Each work represents a new direction in her creative journey, resulting in a distinctive and unrepeatable piece of jewelry.
The exhibition is free and open to the public.
