The Haunting Hour

Hillsborough’s past will come to life during The Haunting Hour, a new take on the dearly departed Spirits Tours.

The immersive evening of storytelling will feature ghostly tales and eerie legends unfolding around guests in a spine-tingling performance at the historic Hughes Academy. The event is a partnership between the Alliance for Historic Hillsborough and the Orange Community Players.

For those looking for an extra scare, Tales from the Grave offers a moonlit mini walking tour through St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church graveyard, where stories of the departed echo among the stones.

Guests also can enjoy a free paint-your-own-pumpkin activity at the Last Fridays craft table.

The Haunting Hour invites guests to step into the story — if they dare.
