Get ready for a full day of queer joy, community and local talent! The Lavender Social’s monthly Rainbow Exchange Vendor Market returns to Speakeasy in Carrboro on March 14, and has curated a beautiful afternoon of shopping and family fun.
Here is what’s happening during the day:
🛍️ 1-7 p.m. | The Vendor Market: Shop a curated selection of incredible queer artists, makers and allies. Support our local creative economy and find something special, whether you’re looking for vintage treasures, handmade art or unique gifts!
✨ 2-5 p.m. | Whimsey Wonders Workshop: Bring the kiddos! This kid-centric, queer-run space features storytime, crafts, snacks and a mini dance party, hosted by Ritzy Clown of Triad Alternative Artists. Enjoy family-friendly fun for all ages!
🌙 Side note: Planning a late night? If you’re sticking around after the market, the energy continues with Cameron Price’s Is Right Trivia at 7 p.m., followed by the Queer Cabaret hosted by Amanduh Barron (voted second best in the Triangle!) at 9 p.m. and a dance party with NIHL to close out the night!
