Track or Treat at New Hope Valley Railway

The Track or Treat Halloween Express returns Oct. 10, 17, 23 and 24 for a festive ride through the woods, where Halloween surprises await around every curve.

Passengers can watch for Count Dracula, witches, bubbling cauldrons, pumpkin characters and other friendly spooky visitors. They may even catch a glimpse of the ghost train or the legendary headless brakeman.

In the railyard, guests can take photos, sing along with the pumpkins, tour the haunted caboose and enjoy food and drinks from local food trucks. Passengers of all ages are welcome and encouraged to come in costume.

Saturday, Oct. 10, 17 and 24: Departure times are 2:15, 3:30, 4:45, 6:30 and 7:45 p.m.

• 2:15-4:45 p.m.: Enjoy the Halloween fun in daylight.
• 6:30 p.m.: Depart at sunset and return under the stars for the best of both worlds.
• 7:45 p.m.: Journey into the night for the full spooky experience.
