Where Time Is Framed: An Exhibition Across Media by Donna Anne Gregory

Durham artist Donna Gregory’s drawings and mixed media works are languid and contemplative compositions unfurling like daydreams, often allegorical narratives reflecting the passage of time while celebrating the rich texture found in technology and nature. Her oil portraits celebrate joyous frolic and revelry often woven with wistful contemplation that defines her journey from childhood to motherhood and beyond.

An opening reception will be held Sept. 2, from 6-8 p.m. at the Louise B. Jones Brown Gallery at the Duke University Bryan Center, sponsored by DUUVisArts.
