Keenan Jenkins of XOXOK crafts atmospheric soul music that is inspired by both old-school R&B (think What’s Going On-era Marvin Gaye) and more modern artists who have expanded the genre (like Maxwell, Moses Sumney, Solange). Behind him, bassist TJ Richardson and drummer Joe MacPhail pull the audience into a deep groove while keyboardist Gabriel Reynolds floats a pillowy keyscape. Jenkins’ original songs have been called “nimble, sweet, yet totally epic” by INDY Week so drop by on a summer’s night to see XOXOK live in the beer garden! The group will be delivering its trademark soulful performance from 6-8 p.m. out back, and food truck The Tasty Turkeyque will be serving up delicious dishes from 5-8 p.m.
