Wake County
We adore Phillips Farms of Cary for strawberries – it also hosts a fun-filled farmers market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays! Other favorites include:

- The Collard Patch in Wake Forest for strawberries;
- DJ’s Berry Patch in Apex for strawberries;
- Granny Pearls Farm in Zebulon for blueberries, blackberries, peaches, pears, apples, grapes and more;
- Grasshopper Farms NC in Knightdale for strawberries;
- Hunts Strawberry Farm in Raleigh for strawberries;
- Page Farms in Raleigh for strawberries in the spring and pumpkins in the fall;

- Polly’s Petal Patch in Fuquay-Varina for flowers (June through October);
- Pope’s Strawberry Farm in Knightdale;

Chatham County
Looking for u-pick farms in Chatham County? Check out:

- Farrell’s Creek Farm in Apex for blueberries and blackberries;
- Howard’s Farm & Mema’s Fruit Shack in Pittsboro for a variety of produce, including peaches, corn, tomatoes and cucumbers, plus homemade ice cream flavors such as vanilla, strawberry, peach, blueberry and butter pecan. The farm stand also operates as a thrift store and sells vintage home decor.

As a general rule, strawberry season runs from late April to the start of June; blueberries from late May to mid-July; blackberries from mid-June through the start of August; peaches from June to September; and flowers from late May to the start of October.
