BMC Brewing

This brewery opened in mid-2021 after more than 30 years in the making. Members of the Rice family, who own the brewery, formerly worked as scientists while also dabbling in homebrewing on the side. Their beers are inspired by their research, like “Mendel’s Dominant Recessive Kölsch,” named after the founder of modern genetics, or “Hopper’s German Wheat Ale,” named after female computer scientist Grace Hopper.
