Painting With Sunlight is a hands-on cyanotype workshop introducing participants to one of the earliest photographic printing processes. Using UV light, participants will create a series of distinctive blue-and-white prints.
Participants will learn how cyanotype works, how to prepare materials, how to compose an image and how exposure and washing affect the final print. The workshop will also encourage participants to think about light, shadow, memory, place and the natural world as artistic materials.
No previous photography or printmaking experience is required.

Photographs — photographs must be emailed to the instructor 24 hours before class to be converted into photo negatives
